FabFitFun Fall 2014

The Fall FabFitFun box was the second one which offered shipping to Canada (and the second one I've received!). This one was just as great as the summer box! This is definitely the priciest of the boxes I subscribe to, at $49.95 + $8 shipping per quarter (plus add in the exchange rate) but it is consistently worth the money. This arrived around the 10th of October, again I've just sucked at blogging lately (my winter box has already arrived)...

Cost: $57.95/quarter (US$ - this includes the shipping cost to Canada)
Promo Codes: NEW5 will save new members $5!

Everything was packaged so nicely! This box also comes with a really great information card with details and pricing on all of the products, but Hero had a hairball and decided the best spot to spit it up was onto it...

First look - I can't lie, I had looked at sneak peaks and knew exactly what was coming in this box - it doesn't make it any less exciting though! Also, this picture was taken after I had already taken the apron out of the box - I wore it while cooking Thanksgiving dinner (I'm Canadian - that happened in October).

Value: $22
Oh man. Coolest thing ever! There's a little button on the top that turns on a light so you can apply your lipstick in the dark (and yes, there's also a mirror on one side). The colour is also fantastic.

Seriously! A light built in!

Value: $18
This is fairly expensive, since this is only a travel size. It's so different than any body butters I've ever tried before too, instead of being creamy, it's more solid. To use, you have to melt a bit in the palm of your hand, and then spread it onto your body. Sounds like too much work for me to be honest. It's just been sitting in the spare room of our apartment, it will probably end up being gifted...

Value: $29.97
This is a website which allows you to work-out from home. A monthly subscription grants you access to hundreds of hours of videos from top trainers. I should probably sign up for this, but knowing myself I'll never use it. I also don't like that you need to enter your own personal credit card information to activate your subscription, so if I forget about it I'll end up being charged.

Value: $56
I believe this was the first spoiler announced for this box? Worth noting is that the value of this bottle alone is almost as much as I paid for the entire box. Basically I bought this and received everything else free! Even months after receiving this box, this is still sitting in it's box. I have way too many beauty products! I want to use this, I just want to finish off a few more things before opening any more...

Numi Organic Tea - sample (sponsored item)
Value: $0.41
I have a love/hate relationship with tea - I love tea that doesn't taste like tea, but am just getting used to drinking it warm/hot. I did like this though! I won't be buying more of it (I have an obscene collection from David's/Steeped Tea right now, and I really need to work through some of that before purchasing any more)

Mary's Gone Crackers (sponsored item)
Value: $1?
Meh. Most super healthy foods are gross. These are weird.

Honest Company Hydrating Shea Butter Cleansing Bar (Juniper Sage)
Value: $4.95
I've actually ordered an Essentials Bundle from Honest Company before (I promise to blog about that at some point!). I love everything I've tried from them so far, but haven't had a chance to try out this soap yet (there are way too many products currently open in our bathroom). This smells amazing though, and it's all natural, hypoallergenic and 84% organic!

Value: $15
I rarely use a straightener (or any form of heat on my hair to be honest) so this has been placed in the gift pile.

Value: $12
These socks are adorable! I have an obscene amount of socks, but one more cute pair can't hurt :)

Value: $4 + $25
I love this! It's something I never realized I needed in my life until I received it in this box haha. I used it to seal a bunch of my Christmas cards, and it looked so fancy! I now want a bunch of different presses, maybe one with my initials? (this one says THX).

Value: $4/card
These are expensive! The photography is great, and the cards are high quality, but I just can't imagine buying more of these.

I didn't get a picture of the Jesse Steel apron (Value: $32) that came in this box before I used it, and now it's dirty. I did receive the cream and black polka dotted one, which is so adorable! I love it.

I ended up receiving 13 items in this box (16 if you count each card), which combined for a total value of over $236! This is incredible value, considering I only paid $58 for it. Most of the items are keepers and will be used up over time, with only a few going into the gift pile.

I'm going to try and not take three months to get the winter box review posted...

xoxo,
Fallon
